Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage medication therapy for patients, including compounding and dispensing.
- Provide clinical support and consultation to healthcare providers.
- Conduct patient assessments to optimize medication regimens.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate training programs.
- Maintain accurate inventory management and control processes.
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Extensive experience in LTC pharmacy and critical care settings.
- Completion of a pharmacy residency program preferred.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
