Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing best practices to minimize risks in the workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, construction and risk management.
We are hiring 2 shifts:
7:30pm-4:30am Night Shift
7:30am-4:30pm Day Shift
TSC vehicle and gas card provided
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Conduct on-site new project plans for each subcontractor before starting work
- Develop the SSSP
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety culture
- Conduct weekly job site safety meetings
Qualifications: REQUIRED
- One of the following BCSP Certificates: CSP, CHST, ASP, OHST or Safety Trained Supervisor/ Safety Trained Supervisor Construction from Certified Safety Professionals
- Cal/OSHA 30-hour construction training course
- Proven 3 years experience in heavy construction safety
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
