Luxury Yacht Management Company and Brokerage seeks experienced Marine Service Technicians to support our growing fleet of managed yachts and assist with warranty claims throughout South Florida.
This position is ideal for a skilled technician with hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing marine electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, and generator systems aboard luxury yachts.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine generators including Kohler, Northern Lights, Onan, and similar systems
- Troubleshoot and service marine air conditioning systems, including chillers and self-contained units
- Perform AC/DC electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Troubleshoot batteries, charging systems, inverters, wiring, breakers, and electrical panels
- Conduct preventative maintenance and routine vessel service
- Identify and resolve onboard mechanical and systems-related issues
- Complete service reports and communicate findings clearly to management
- Maintain a professional appearance and work environment aboard client vessels
- Assist with warranty service and support for European luxury yachts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of marine service experience preferred
- Strong understanding of marine electrical, generator, and HVAC systems
- Ability to diagnose problems independently and efficiently
- Experience working aboard yachts, sportfish vessels, or large recreational boats preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own tools preferred
