We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kumon Assistant to join our educational team! Duties
- Assist in implementing curriculum development strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Support classroom management by maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming environment for learners
- Help prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with educational standards and student progress
- Engage with students through tutoring, reinforcing concepts in subjects such as mathematics and reading
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement
- Monitor student behavior, provide encouragement, and promote positive classroom interactions
- Collaborate with lead instructors to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or early childhood education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and experience with special education needs is a plus
- Ability to assist in lesson planning and adapt activities for diverse learning styles
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital educational tools
- Passion for teaching, tutoring, or mentoring young learners in a supportive environment
- Prior classroom experience or experience working with students of various ages is highly desirable
