Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing tables to maintain a clean and efficient dining area
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and daily specials, to provide expert recommendations
- Ensure food safety standards are met through proper sanitation, food handling, and food industry best practices
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally in a fine dining or nightclub setting
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub exposure
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding basic math for cash handling
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a lively environment
