POSITION OVERVIEW
The warehouse supervisor is responsible for the overall inventory management of company products and parts, as well as handling all shipping needs. Additionally, the warehouse supervisor will oversee the receiving, order picking, cycle counting, and material issuance functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Monitor warehouse functions to ensure that all related tasks are being performed properly and in a timely manner.
- Manage all outbound shipments, including preparation of paperwork and arrangement of transportation services.
- Must have thorough knowledge of industry standard shipping procedures and practices.
- Must be able to navigate via supply chain portals/internet to generate bills of lading.
- Must be able to operate hand trucks and forklift trucks.
- Oversee and supervise the receiving functions.
- Oversee and supervise the maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts, reporting and monthly inventory accounting.
- Oversee the raw material and bill of material picking functions.
- Perform shipping and inventory transactions.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supervising shipping/warehouse personnel.
- Plan and direct warehouse work flow.
- Train staff in proper shipping procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have strong organization skills.
- Must be well able to multi task.
- Familiar with inventory methods and practices.
- Good communication skills and good attention to detail.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform all tasks with limited supervision.
EDUCTION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations at a manufacturing company
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
