Roofing Sales Representative
CGR Legacy Construction is hiring motivated sales representatives to help homeowners throughout St. Charles, St. Louis County, and surrounding communities with roof inspections, repairs, replacements, and storm-related roofing needs.
This is a full-time, commission-only outside sales position. There is no guaranteed salary or hourly wage. Estimated annual earnings are $50,000–$100,000, depending entirely on individual performance, completed sales, job value, and the terms of CGR’s written commission plan. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Roofing experience is not required. We provide structured field training, sales guidance, roofing education, and ongoing support. However, candidates must be comfortable generating business through door-to-door canvassing, neighborhood outreach, referrals, networking, and consistent follow-up.
What You’ll Do
- Canvass targeted neighborhoods and speak directly with homeowners
- Generate roofing leads and schedule property inspections
- Educate homeowners on CGR’s inspection and roofing process
- Attend inspections and customer appointments
- Follow up with leads, inspections, estimates, and active customers
- Help customers understand repair and replacement recommendations
- Maintain accurate notes, activity, and follow-up tasks in the company CRM
- Use company tools such as Hail Recon, CRM software, and inspection documentation systems
- Coordinate with CGR’s inspection, estimating, office, and production teams
- Represent CGR professionally in the field and throughout the customer relationship
- Participate in sales meetings, coaching, and ongoing training
- Meet reasonable activity, follow-up, and performance expectations
What This Position Requires
- Comfort approaching and speaking with homeowners
- Willingness to perform door-to-door prospecting
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles area
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Ability to use a smartphone, CRM, email, text messaging, and basic sales technology
- Dependability, coachability, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to handle rejection and remain consistent
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Roofing, construction, canvassing, customer service, or sales experience is helpful but not required
Compensation
- Commission-only compensation
- Estimated annual earnings: $50,000–$100,000
- Actual earnings depend on individual sales performance and are not guaranteed
- Commission is paid according to CGR Legacy Construction’s written compensation plan
- Additional details regarding commission percentages, payment timing, eligibility, and job requirements will be reviewed during the interview process
Schedule and Territory
This is a full-time, field-based position. Sales activity takes place throughout St. Charles, St. Louis County, and nearby communities. Some evening and weekend availability may be needed because those are often the best times to reach homeowners.
The schedule has flexibility, but successful representatives are expected to remain active, maintain consistent prospecting and follow-up, attend required meetings and training, and produce measurable results.
