Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
- Lead and supervise staff to deliver outstanding guest services, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Manage hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies, occupancy management, and budget control
- Develop and implement policies to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience
- Coordinate guest relations efforts to resolve issues promptly and professionally, fostering positive reviews and loyalty
- Conduct regular staff training on customer service, phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and hospitality standards
- Monitor night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, evaluate, and motivate team members for peak performance
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Knowledge of revenue management techniques to maximize profitability
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, front desk operations, night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems
- Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and guest interaction expertise
- Background in human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee development
- Ability to handle complex situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- IHG experience preferred, not required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
