Job Summary
Join our team as a Bakery Clerk, where you’ll interact with guests by creating a welcoming atmosphere. In this customer facing role, you will be responsible for front of house duties such as making coffee, setting up the bakery display, slicing and bagging bread, and ensuring guests have a great experience. This role includes tips. Full and Part time positions available.
Duties
- Greet customers with enthusiasm and provide knowledgeable assistance on bakery products
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display, tools, and work area
- Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards
- Support catering and pre-orders and special event setups
Experience
- Previous experience in bakeries or food service industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Background in kitchen or restaurant environments demonstrating culinary competence
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
