Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Pittsburgh facility. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who is committed to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Disassemble, rebuild, and replace defective components as needed.
- Reassemble equipment and perform final adjustments to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team with employees at all levels.
- Be available to work various shifts, including weekends and occasional holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related maintenance experience.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to contributing from day one.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Electrical systems and industrial electronics
- PLC control systems, PanelView screens, and automation equipment
- HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration
- Plumbing, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Steam boilers, pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement, and tight tolerance)
- AC and DC motors, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), drive units, belts, pulleys, and bearings
- General mechanical maintenance and repair
- Welding, brazing, soldering, and torch operation
- Safe and effective use of power and hand tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong visual attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must provide your own tools necessary to perform the job. Annual tool allowance paid by company.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday beginning at 6:00am EST
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
