Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a private , general dentistry practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in dental assisting, with knowledge of infection control practices and an understanding of general dentistry procedures.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft.
- Assist with prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and instruments as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and familiarity with general dentistry practices.
- Proficiency in infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.05 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
