Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our interdisciplinary Functional Restoration Program (FRP) specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), and trauma-related conditions within a Workers’ Compensation population.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, outcomes-focused environment alongside physicians, physical therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to restore function and improve quality of life for injured workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including assessment of:
- Chronic pain adjustment
- Emotional and trauma-related conditions
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Pain coping skills training
- Trauma-informed interventions
- Provide individual and group therapy within the FRP model
- Perform functional and work readiness assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in case conferences and treatment planning
- Complete timely, clear, and defensible documentation consistent with Workers’ Compensation standards
- Communicate with referral sources, case managers, and payers as needed
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist in the State of California (required)
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Experience with one or more of the following preferred:
- Chronic pain populations
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Trauma/PTSD treatment
- Workers’ Compensation system
- Strong skills in psychological testing and report writing
- Experience in interdisciplinary or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Training in CBT, ACT, or other evidence-based modalities
- Familiarity with functional restoration or interdisciplinary rehab models
- Experience conducting group therapy
- Ability to balance clinical care with administrative/documentation requirements

Pay: $104,000.00 - $108,160.00 per year
