Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate DSP/Companionship professional to provide exceptional support and care to an individual with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized assistance, patient observation, and compassionate caregiving. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, and emotional support within various care settings, including and home & community care environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement for residents or clients.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities, fostering independence and community involvement.
Requirements
Preference- MALE APPLICANT
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards related to patient information.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to caregiving are vital for success in this role.
