What you'll do
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• Educate patients on specimen collection instructions
• Ensure accurate specimen labeling and documentation
• Work closely with providers, nurses and laboratory staff
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered service every day
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program OR equivalent clinical laboratory experience (approximately two years)
• Previous experience performing venipuncture and specimen collection
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
