The City of Minot is accepting applications for a Part Time Bus Driver position in Transit Department. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants and will remain open until filled.
Nature of Work
This is semi-skilled work operating passenger buses of various sizes to provide safe and efficient transportation services to citizens. Work is performed under the continuing supervision of the Transit Operations Foreman.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and some experience in bus or similar vehicle operation; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

A North Dakota Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements is preferred, but not required.
Compensation

Starting hourly wage of $20.96/hr.

This is a part time, FLSA nonexempt, non-civil service position with no benefits provided.

Veterans’ Preference
Veteran’s preference: Applicants who are residents of North Dakota and eligible to claim veteran’s preference must include Form DD214.
