Become a SHARE! Exchange Program Coach in College Station, TX!
A desire to learn about what separates us culturally, as well as to celebrate all that we share in common as people, lies at the heart of SHARE!’s mission.
ERDT/SHARE! is engaged in providing quality homestays and enrollments in American high schools for foreign high school students coming to the United States for a full academic year (10 months) or one semester (5 months).
As an Exchange Program Coach (EPC), you will have the important task of locating enthusiastic and nurturing families ready to welcome a visiting student from a foreign country into their home.
As a Department of State designated program, SHARE! takes great pride in achieving a great degree of compatibility between host family and student, and YOUR role in this process is what can make the difference in the experience for both.
You determine the means and methods for fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of facilitating an exchange program in your community. The EPC is primarily responsible for recruiting host families, coordinating quality homestays for the student with their host family, and taking care of their high school enrollment. We count on our EPCs to facilitate the exchange student’s adjustment to life in the United States, and enhance a positive impression of the United States, which is the purpose of all exchange activity.

This role is an independent contractor position for supplemental income, not a regular full-time or part-time position. It is a great opportunity for stay-at-home parents, the retired, semi-retired or perhaps someone looking for a second income opportunity that is flexible and independent.
As an independent contractor you will be issued a 1099 at the end of each calendar year. For each student that you place in a host family and high school, you receive $650-$1300 over the course of the year or semester (depending on the length of the student's stay, and the number of students you place).
