As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor- Night who is responsible for supervising hourly employees in a manufacturing warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with regulations, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Location: Onsite - Bessemer, Alabama
What You’ll Do
Assisting Inventory Control & Logistics Manager with hiring and training of new employees.

- Scheduling and overseeing warehouse staff.
- Conduct physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory as it is delivered.
- Prioritizing daily work for the team based on production needs.
- Resolving inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Replenishing stock and inventory as needed.
- Ensuring that all stock is stored in the correct location in the warehouse.
- Scheduling material being picked for internal and external processes.
- Collaborating with the Inventory Control & Logistics Manager to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
- Performing other related duties assigned.
What You’ll Need to Excel in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of Propane Forklift experience required.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, policies, and procedures
- Proven ability to lead, direct, and develop employees
- Proficiency with data entry and inventory software and systems.
- Experience with personnel decisions including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions
Competencies/Skills
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, MS Office suite
- Strong analytical skills with a high-level of attention to detail and business process
- Strong skills in developing and presenting performance metrics reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with others
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed as needed
- WMS experience and knowledge preferred
- ERP system knowledge (JD Edwards preferred)
