Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks, including containers and refrigerated containers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver freight to various destinations along assigned routes while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage route driving responsibilities with a focus on punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- Handle special cargo requirements such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when certified.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries smoothly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred.
- Familiarity with driving refrigerated trailers, tankers, and containers is highly desirable.
