We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Line Cook to join our new, ambitious team. Ideal candidates have a passion for or track record of providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service, first and foremost (think ChikFilA circa 2017).
In this role, you will ensure a smooth, enjoyable checkout experience for our valued patrons. You will be the overly friendly face that greets shoppers, accurately processes transactions and prepares food, and maintains a welcoming environment.
Enthusiasm and attention to the small details are extremely important & help foster customer loyalty and contribute to the overall success of the brand. What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases or inquiries in a lively, happy, friendly manner
- Accurately processing cash, credit, and digital payments using Toast POS
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Preparing food and supporting other staff by managing order accuracy and timely transactions
- Handling food handling procedures carefully, adhering to safety protocols during meal service or catering events
- Assisting with menu planning and meal preparation whenever necessary, demonstrating culinary knowledge and knife skills
- Going the whole 9 yards to provide service that makes it impossible for our customers to leave without leaving us a 5 star review.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food or hospitality is preferred but not necessary
- Exceptional social skill & awareness is REQUIRED
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, & food handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards & proper hygiene practices in a kitchen or food service environment
- Experience with fine dining or catering settings is a plus, showcasing your ability to serve high-quality meals
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to ensure an engaging customer experience
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques (knife skills)
Compensation
-Competitive, ranging from a base of $17 to $19.
