Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Position: Travel RN Only
Local Radius: No local candidates within 50 miles
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Perform rapid assessments and prioritize patients based on acuity.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments.
- Assist with emergency procedures and patient stabilization.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in Cerner.
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families.
- Follow hospital, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Float as required based on competency and department needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Cerner experience required.
- Strong emergency/critical-care assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
