Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Counter Help to join our food service team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and ordering processes using POS systems.
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and process payments using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including food handling stations, dining space, and equipment.
- Restock supplies, organize products, and ensure all food items are properly stored according to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure quick service.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
