Prep Cook / Sandwich Slayer
The NoshPit Sandwich • Bar is looking for someone who loves good food, works hard, and enjoys making killer sandwiches.
We’re not a corporate kitchen. We’re a neighborhood sandwich shop with live music, comedy, cold beer, and a small team that busts our asses to make people happy. If you take pride in your work, move with urgency, and care about putting out great food every time, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Prep fresh ingredients every day—slice meats, cheeses, veggies, make sauces, and keep the line stocked.
- Build chopped sandwiches quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Help develop daily specials and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for the next rush.
- Follow food safety standards and treat our kitchen like it’s your own.
- Jump in wherever you’re needed. We win as a team.
- Help receive deliveries, rotate product, and keep waste to a minimum.
What We’re Looking For
- Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Solid knife skills and the ability to work with speed and consistency.
- Someone who stays calm when things get busy.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable. If you say you’ll be here, you’re here.
- Pride in your work and respect for your teammates.
Bonus Points If You…
- Have experience with prep, line cooking, catering, or sandwiches.
- Love live music, comedy, or neighborhood bars.
- Have ideas and aren’t afraid to share them.
