We are looking to fill the role of Technologist Extender/Radiology Assistant in our Radiology Department. The Technologist Extender/Radiology Assistant assists the Radiologic and MRI Technologists by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction. The Technologist Extender/Radiology Assistant communicates with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care and facilitate patient care including lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients. May also perform a variety of patient care activities to assist the patient care team including phlebotomy.
