We are a small, dynamic insurance agency in Orange County and pride ourselves in providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in performing sales and producer duties to join our growing team.
As a Insurance Sales Agent you must possess self-initiative and self-awareness with the ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Generate and qualify warm leads weekly through cold calls, networking events, and referrals to build a pipeline of auto, home, and life prospects.
- Conduct needs-based consultations with clients, quoting and closing policies in Year 1 while maintaining an high close rate under agency owner mentorship.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by reviewing coverage, processing endorsements, and resolving claims questions to drive client retention.
- Track daily KPIs (calls, appointments, quotes issued) in CRM to hit monthly production targets.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service roles
- At least 1 year of experience in sales and producer roles
- Must hold at least 1 active California Property Broker-Agent, Casualty Broker-Agent, Life Agent, or Accident & Health Agent license
- Self-starter with the ability to learn fast and work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to adapt to change with ease when projects change at a moment’s notice
- PC Literacy: MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Minimum typing 45 WPM
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple assignments and manage time effectively
- Proofreading skills with strong attention to details
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and a team player
- Comfortable working with a wide variety of professionals
