As a result, thousands of students have gained an accelerated start to elementary school, fluency in a second language, and an appreciation and understanding of the Latin culture.
We are looking for a passionate and talented campus Assistant Director who want to grow with us and deliver an exceptional student experience, academic excellence, and drive a positive & caring company culture. The Assistant Director is responsible for the classrooms, organization and support the Director in many operational aspects of the school:
1. Classrooms
- Support teachers where needed
- Ensure skills of the week used in classroom
- Assist with classroom discipline
- Plan and coordinate special events
Supervision of Teachers
- Teacher Placement
- Daily supervision
- Teacher Meetings for events, issues
- Employee Morale
- Provide feedback to Management
Parent Communications
- Help with conferences and evaluations as needed
- Parent Meetings as needed
- Be available to answer parent questions when needed
- Serve as back-up to conduct tours to prospective families
4. Administrative
- Assist with scheduling or other record-keeping
- Manage Employee files
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a licensed child-care center, college-level/advanced accreditation in child development
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, English intermediate proficiency is necessary
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Positive and encouraging approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for child development, language, and cultural understanding
- Proficient in MSOffice
