Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing an exceptional experience for our guests and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all assigned areas according to hotel standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
