About the Position
We're looking for a dependable, organized, and self-motivated Household & Business Assistant to help keep our home and small businesses running smoothly. This is a unique position that combines household management, occasional childcare, and light business support. No two days are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
Household Responsibilities
- Grocery shopping and running errands
- Meal planning and meal preparation
- General housekeeping and tidying
- Occasional deep cleaning projects
- Laundry as needed
- Basic yard work and outdoor maintenance
- Keeping family vehicles clean and organized
- Providing occasional care for toddler while parents attend appointments, work on projects, or care for the baby
Business Responsibilities
- Keeping the shop clean, organized, and functional
- Packing and preparing customer orders
- Delivering weekly shipments to the shipping carrier
- Organizing inventory
- Assisting with various business projects as needed
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Flexible and adaptable as priorities change
- Able to lift and carry up to approximately 40 lbs.
- Comfortable around children and willing to provide occasional childcare
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR Certification
- Previous experience as a nanny, household assistant, personal assistant, or office assistant
- Experience with meal preparation or household management
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
