Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, and storage areas following kitchen health and safety standards.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are maintained at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances safely and efficiently.
- Deliver cleaned and sanitized dishes to their respective areas quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and kitchen health regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing throughout shifts.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with food handling practices are a plus for supporting culinary team members.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and supporting the overall kitchen operation.
- Prior experience with banquet or large-scale food service operations can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
