MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented expert Maritime Law Attorney to join our team in Oahu, HI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serves as the final Technical Authority for legal interpretation, providing counsel on complex maritime statutes and international law of the sea

Authorizes the formulation of legal strategies for civil and criminal proceedings and validate the execution of high-value maritime contracts

Approves legal frameworks that protect organizational rights and obligations in global maritime operations

Validates the legal compliance of maritime logistics and sustainment operations within the Pacific, ensuring adherence to international maritime treaties and Host Nation port regulations

Authorizes the review of specialized maritime subcontracts and charters for offshore support vessels to mitigate legal risks in contested environments

Provides strategic legal guidance on territorial water transits and maritime security protocols for Special Operations missions

Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field
-
12+ years of position-relevant experience
-
Active bar membership in the U.S. jurisdiction
Desired Qualifications:
-
15+ years of position-relevant experience
-
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
-
Experience advising PACOM or USSOCOM on maritime legal affairs
-
Expert knowledge of the Law of the Sea Convention
Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess active Public Trust clearance
