As a Construction Laborer, you will actively participate in all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute specific tasks accurately
- Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, framing, and other structural components following blueprint specifications
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, tile laying, and restoration projects
- Perform concrete-related tasks such as pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping while adhering to safety protocols
- Support demolition and renovation activities by removing debris and preparing surfaces for new construction or finishing work
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations
- Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to construction activities and equipment operation
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete mixing processes
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience with carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing (metal stud framing), roofing, and drywall installation
- Understanding of safety regulations related to construction workplaces and proper use of hand tools and power tools
