Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Tax Associate to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using tax preparation software.
- Gather and organize financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other relevant tax forms.
- Conduct analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify tax-related questions.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate records within accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that impact filing requirements and reporting standards.
- Contribute to client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Prior experience or coursework in accounting, finance, or public accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax law, tax compliance, and tax reporting processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and other tax preparation tools.
- Excellent analysis skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate data entry and review.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently using math skills, 10 key typing proficiency, and technical accounting knowledge.
- Effective client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of partnership and corporate tax expertise is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
