POSITION: Dermatology Float
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
JOB SUMMARY: Dermatology Float must have a professional attitude and have an ability to multitask and deal with a multitude of duties and projects in a timely and effective manner. Job duties will vary day to day depending on the needs of the practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with incoming phone calls
· Pulling and filing charts and paperwork
· Maintain incoming and outgoing medical records
· Call provider referrals and recall lists
· Receive, sort, distribute, stamp, and send daily mail/deliveries.
· Prepare charts for upcoming appointments; verify primary and secondary insurance information, confirm patient demographics are up-to-date and accurate
· Opening and closing front desk positions as needed
· Schedule follow up appointments, review deductible information and collect payments
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Insurance verification
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Familiar with NextGen Software
· One year dermatology experience
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
· Ability to work well as a team player
· Ability to multitask
· Flexible hours are a MUST
· Ability to travel between two locations
JOB TYPE: Full-time Monday through Friday, 30-35 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
