Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that excite our patrons and reflect current trends in mixology and beverage craftsmanship
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to ensure seamless service without shortages or overstocking
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, hospitality industry, or retail food service environments; catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, beverage recipe development, and craft beer experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol service regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management
- Previous experience working with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is highly desirable
- Hospitality industry experience with a focus on beverage service is essential; restaurant or food industry background preferred
