Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant team to new heights of excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety management to uphold health standards and quality assurance.
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS and 7 Shifts scheduling for order processing, sales tracking, cash handling with accuracy and scheduling
- Control inventory levels through effective inventory control practices, minimizing waste while ensuring product availability.
- Train, develop, and supervise team members in food service techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Manage budget responsibilities including cost control, profit and loss analysis, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
- Foster a positive team environment through staff training & development initiatives, interviewing prospective employees, and providing ongoing coaching.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hospitality standards across casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet settings.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
- Coordinate with kitchen management on food production schedules and culinary standards to deliver consistent quality.
Experience
- Proven management experience in casual dining environments with a strong background in restaurant management.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Demonstrated expertise with POS systems ; cash handling proficiency required.
- Experience in catering and in house events..
- Experience with staff training & development programs along with interviewing skills for hiring top talent.
- Familiarity with kitchen management tasks including food production oversight and culinary standards adherence.
