Milligan University invites applications for the part-time position of Remote Undergraduate Admissions Recruiter, serving the metro-Nashville area with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this unique role is designed for a highly relational individual who will serve as a visible and trusted representative of Milligan throughout the Nashville community.
Rather than traditional recruitment travel focused on brief visits, this position emphasizes meaningful presence, long-term relationship building, and thoughtful engagement with students, families, schools, churches, and community partners. The recruiter will cultivate connections that help students discover how Milligan’s Christian liberal arts education can shape their calling, purpose, and future.
The ideal candidate is deeply connected within the Nashville community, communicates warmly and authentically, and is passionate about helping students find a college experience where they will thrive academically, spiritually, and personally. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in higher education, community relations, ministry, education, or sales/business development. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university. Primary duties and responsibilities would be performed remotely with frequent local travel around Nashville and occasional travel to Milligan’s campus.
