Who we are looking for: Licensed Veterinary Technician
Compensation: $28/hr + (based on skills and experience)
Job Type: Full-time, 4 days a week at 10 hour shifts with one Saturday shift a month (additional half day off during week).
Responsiblities:
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, recovery, and diagnostics
- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion
- Provide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications, and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients
- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Follow hospital safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician Certification required
- Prior veterinary experience is required
