Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and menu items.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Handle cash processing, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Experience in beverage recipe development and an understanding of food safety practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math proficiency.
