Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent guest services from arrival to departure
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times
- Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries clearly and efficiently
- Maintain organized restaurant table management systems, ensuring accurate tracking of reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments
- Assist in food safety practices by communicating effectively with kitchen staff and ensuring cleanliness standards are upheld
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process guest orders when necessary and handle guest payments accurately
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
Skills
- Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar hospitality role, with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and restaurant table management systems
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, guest counts, and POS transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food service operations, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is preferred

Pay: $24.15 - $29.09 per hour
