Specialized Professional Services, Inc. (SPSI) is hiring full time CDL Drivers/Laborer. Highly motivated, quality driver/laborers who provide excellent customer service and want to be part of a great team. Class A or B Hazmat Endorsement and Tanker Endorsement preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Employee must have “on call” availability for scheduled rotation and emergencies.
- Employee is responsible for safe operation of a commercial vehicle to/from and on the job site.
- Employee must be able to read and understand OSHA safety regulations and perform all tasks safely.
- Employee will be required to comply with all DOT, State and Local regulations, company and customer policies.
- Employee will be required to operate machines or equipment to remove, package, store, or transport loads of waste materials.
- Employee will be required to identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of hazardous materials, waste oil, fuel, transmission fluid, or contaminated soil.
- Employee will be working outdoors in all types of weather ex.-cold, heat, direct sun, rain, snow,
- Employee will perform assigned tasks safely which includes lifting, climbing, shoveling and safe operation of assigned equipment.
- Employee will be responsible for accurate and legible paperwork.
Salary:
- $26-28.00/hour based on experience and certifications.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- At least 18 years old
- Valid CDL Driver’s license
- Must pass drug and alcohol test, physical, background check and driving record check.
- The ability to work weekends and extended hours.
- The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed.
