Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Designer and Outside Sales Representative based in Charleston, SC to join our vibrant team. This role combines creative design expertise with proactive sales strategies to deliver exceptional kitchen renovation solutions to clients. You will be the face of our brand in the community, guiding customers through the entire remodeling or new build process, from initial consultation to project completion. Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and create kitchen layouts and plans based on customer specifications and needs
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design options
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software or 20/20 design to develop detailed kitchen designs
- Provide accurate measurements and estimates for materials and labor costs
-Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring clear communication of project scope, timelines, and costs
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance the customer's kitchen design
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the design process
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Run in-home and on-site consultations with residential and commercial clients
- Self-generate your own leads to stack higher commissions and the company will feed you leads as well. We hand you leads. You turn them into revenue. And when you go out and generate your own, you earn even more. This is a seat for someone who's hungry, competitive, and wants their income tied directly to how hard they work — not a salary cap.
- Build accurate estimates that protect our margins
Experience:
- Previous 3 plus years experience in kitchen design
- Strong knowledge of kitchen design principles, trends, and materials
- Excellent communication skills in English allowing for effective communication with a diverse customer base
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers, contractors, and other team members
- Experience with outside sales or a willingness to learn and develop those skills
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software or 20/20 design for creating detailed designs
- Knowledge of lighting design principles is a plus

What You'll Earn
design fees that we bill to the client are paid to you, the designer plus
- 15% straight commission (net profit) on company-provided leads
- 25% commission (net profit) on jobs from self-generated leads
- Uncapped — your ceiling is your effort
Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
