- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- Experience leading and managing technology projects in all phases, from evaluation to design and execution.
- Experience maintaining and upgrading one or more of the following systems: access Control, badging and credential technology, Identity and PAM, video surveillance, high security intrusion detection, physical security networking, physical security servers and infrastructure.
- Experience maintaining technology in security environments.
- Experience mapping electronic security systems to security controls.
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with deploying and managing large enterprise enterprise high security electronic security systems.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing complex maintenance workflows.

The CSRM-Technical Operations Safety Platforms, Architectures, and Concept Engineering (SPACE) team is looking for an innovative and organized Technical Program Manager to join our team sustaining the electronic security and safety systems in our fast growing data center fleet. You will get to exercise all your Physical Security Expertise and Technical Program Management skills to make Google Data Centers a safer and more efficient place to work.
In this role, you will own the global strategy, lifecycle management, and reliability of physical security devices across our entire data center fleet. You will architect global maintenance frameworks, guide a tailored infrastructure asset management system, and drive high-impact vendor Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance to ensure zero operational downtime. By leveraging maintenance telemetry and building strong cross-functional partnerships, you will directly influence the engineering design of our next-generation security systems.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Engage with site operations, compliance, and product teams to ensure our physical security devices are operating in top condition globally.
- Drive global standardization and lifecycle strategies for all physical security infrastructure (e.g., access control, CCTV, biometrics).
- Architect and manage a global vendor and SLA framework for third-party maintenance providers, holding partners accountable to strict Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and quality targets across all regions.
- Design and own a maintenance-focused asset management system for global security infrastructure.
- Lead technical risk mitigation and root-cause analysis (RCA) for systemic failures across the global fleet, leveraging maintenance telemetry to influence next-generation system engineering.
