Duties
- Lead and supervise salon staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to foster a high-performing team
- Manage daily operations such as scheduling shifts, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Drive retail sales by promoting services and products through effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer engagement
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding client experience
- Coordinate purchasing of salon supplies and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, track sales data, and prepare operational reports for management review
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail or beauty industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing candidates, recruiting talent, and training & development
- Experience with retail sales strategies such as merchandising, pricing adjustments, and sales management techniques
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, cashiering duties, and financial record keeping
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team management, managerial communication, time management, and customer service excellence
