Beverage Manager
We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Beverage Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a polished, service-focused leader who thrives in an upscale dining environment and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while developing high-performing teams.
Position Summary
The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar and beverage operations while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, service execution, and beverage excellence. This leader will play a key role in cultivating a warm, polished dining experience while supporting operational performance, team development, and beverage program growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong upscale dining or fine dining experience, a deep understanding of cocktail and wine programs, inventory management, and cost controls, and the ability to lead with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily bar and beverage operations with a strong focus on elevated guest service and hospitality standards
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, ensuring seamless service execution and memorable guest experiences
- Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, and cost controls
- Develop and maintain the restaurant's beverage program, including seasonal cocktails and curated Italian wine offerings
- Ensure accurate inventory procedures, COGS management, and operational reporting
- Train, coach, and develop bar and front-of-house team members to uphold service standards, product knowledge, and hospitality culture
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performance team environment rooted in accountability and professionalism
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery with confidence, discretion, and genuine hospitality
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and retention of team members
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Execute opening, closing, and administrative responsibilities with strong attention to detail and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in upscale dining, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of cocktail development, wine service, beverage operations, inventory management, and cost controls
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Professional presence with the ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and retain strong hospitality teams
- Stable and progressive work history with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
