Marion County Health Department has an opening for a Emergency Preparedness Coordinator
Position Details:
- Experience in emergency preparedness or related field is required
- Part-time ($18.00/hour)
Workers can accrue up to 40 hours of paid leave each year, in accordance with the Paid Leave for All Workers Act.
Main Functions: Responsible for the overall planning, training, and preparedness of health department operations during a natural or man-made emergency. The coordinator works with local, regional, and state partners to facilitate the health department's role in planning.
Essentials:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to give presentations
- Good organizational skills and excellent computer skills
