Join our growing team as a Budtender, where you will be the face that introduces Cannabliss 21 to the community. This role requires an energetic, responsible, team-player to succeed. Treating customers with respect and products with care, and providing knowledge and insight when asked to help guide customers through transactions.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with product merchandising to optimize store presentation
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, answering questions about products or store policies
- Support supervising staff with daily operations as needed, including training new team members on POS systems and customer service protocols
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding cannabis sales and store policies
Qualifications
- Familiarity with common POS systems found in retail stores
- Ability to discern counterfeit bills and IDs using the tools provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others and speak with confidence
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills necessary for retail transactions and inventory management
- Knowledge of cannabis or related retail regulations is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
