Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel equipment, including semi-trucks & trailers, industrial equipment, buses, & RV's. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and operational reliability. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to suspension, HVAC systems, wheel alignment, hydraulics, and other industrial equipment.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety compliance; perform brake repairs, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension work.
- Complete service reports and logs accurately for each repair or maintenance task performed.
- Perform welding or soldering as needed during repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a diesel mechanic or service technician in a repair shop environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with schematics reading and diagnostics tools to identify issues efficiently.
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to air brake systems, tire service, wheel alignment, suspension repair/ replacement.

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
