United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for a Business Planner. We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and driven to improve business performance through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to manufacturing, supply chain management, commercial and logistics processes while developing future leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities:-
Manages production scheduling of customer orders

Monitor and analyze work-in-process and finished goods inventory

Cross-functional coordination with Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Commercial teams

Generate routine and ad hoc reports supporting business planning and decision-making

Interacts with and supervises salary union-represented personnel
Requirements:-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, accounting, finance, operations management or a related field

0 to 2 years of related experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to work weekends, holidays and extended hours as necessary

Ability to travel to meetings, trainings, etc. as necessary

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with various levels of management

Excellent planning and organization skills

Computer literacy to a working skills level-proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Manufacturing and operating experience preferred
