We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP), part-time with the potential to be full-time in Idaho. This NP will conduct in-depth wound assessments, order labs, review records, and write orders. The NP will work with RN’s, LVN’s, and physicians in long-term, home health care, and rehabilitation facilities. The NP will have to provide wound education (materials provided and approved by Corporate) to staff and physicians as directed by the direct reporting manager.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong ethical and safety practices, participate in peer support, evaluations, in-services, and educational programs for facilities and staff meetings. The NP will also be required to establish and maintain effective working relationships. We would welcome recent graduates, as we can provide the training one needs in order to complete the job. If one is not certified in wounds, we will educate and train before the Certified Wound Specialist examination. If someone is looking for autonomy, one will find this here.
