Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation practices.
- Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, ensuring a safe and comforting environment
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information
- CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills for working with patients and families
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent caregiving skills focused on patient safety and well-being
- Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care
