Assistant General Manager:
The position of Assistant General Manager is a fast-paced role that assists with managing the daily operations and staff of the restaurant. This includes the execution of all company polices, procedures, programs, and systems. The Assistant General Manager provides leadership, direction, training, and development in the presence and absence of the General Manager. The Assistant General Manager’s focus is primarily on the training and development of the staff, customer service, shift execution, sales growth, maintaining costs, as well as driving the restaurant’s profitability. The Assistant General Manager reports to the Corporate Training General Manager and oversees a staff of 10-15 employees.
This role is unique in that it is based within our brands' Company Owned Unit, which is charged with training all Penn Station Franchisees to our lofty standard prior to the opening of their Franchise. This role plays a large part in assisting in training other managers, as well as Penn Station Franchisees.
Requirements:
· 1+ year previous restaurant management experience, preferably in a quick service/fast casual concept
· Ability to work 40-45 hours per week including one Saturday or Sunday each week
· Demonstrated success in a high-volume, fast-paced, and fun work environment
· Must be 18-years or older
